Effective July 8, 2026. Short version: the calculators never leave your browser, and the contact form is the only place we ask you for anything.
Every number you type into the pain and suffering calculator, the multiplier or per-diem tools, or any of the injury-specific calculators is processed with JavaScript running on your own device. None of it is transmitted to LegalClaimCalc, logged on a server, or stored in a database. Close the tab and the figures are gone. If a calculator page supports a shareable link with your inputs in the URL, that link only works because you chose to copy and send it; we never see it unless you send it to us directly.
The contact page's form is handled by a third-party service (Web3Forms) that emails your name, address, and message to us so we can reply. We don't add you to a mailing list from that submission, and we don't sell or share it. We keep the message only as long as needed to resolve whatever you wrote in about.
A small banner asks whether you're fine with cookies used for analytics and ad personalization; your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on your next visit. Reject it and we scale back to the minimum needed to keep the site running. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, which will affect the banner but not the calculators, since those don't depend on cookies at all.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages and calculators get used, in aggregate, so we know what to keep improving. This tells us traffic patterns, not who any individual visitor is.
Ads on this site are served through Google AdSense, which may use its own cookies to show ads it thinks are relevant to you. Google's own policies, not ours, govern how that targeting works; you can review and adjust your ad settings directly through Google.
Some outbound links on LegalClaimCalc are affiliate links. If you click one and take an action on the other site, we may earn a commission. That arrangement doesn't cost you anything extra and doesn't change any figure a calculator produces.
Because the calculators don't store your data in the first place, there's little to request or delete on that front. For anything related to a contact-form message, email us and we'll handle it directly.
If how we handle data changes, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top will move. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.
