Terms of Service

Effective July 8, 2026. Using LegalClaimCalc, in any form, means you've agreed to what's below.

What you're agreeing to

These terms cover every calculator, guide, and dataset published at legalclaimcalc.org. Load a page, run a number through a calculator, or download the value factors CSV, and these terms apply to that use. If a term here doesn't work for you, the straightforward option is to stop using the site.

What the calculators are for

The pain and suffering calculator, the multiplier and per-diem tools, the car accident and general damages calculators, and the settlement-by-injury pages all exist to produce a starting estimate using published, publicly documented formulas. They run entirely in your browser; there's no account to create and no submission process. Nothing about running a number through a calculator obligates you to anything, and nothing about it obligates us to anything either.

This is not legal representation

Using this site, in whole or in part, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and LegalClaimCalc, its owner, or its writers. No calculator output, article, or reference table is legal advice. What a claim actually settles for depends on liability, medical documentation, and the law of the jurisdiction handling it, none of which any of these tools can evaluate for you. For that, retain a licensed personal injury attorney.

Accuracy and the reference dataset

The severity-multiplier bands and per-diem conventions in the calculators, and the state fault-rule table in the value factors reference, are reviewed periodically, but state rules change and we can't guarantee every figure is current the moment you read it. Verify anything that matters to your claim against a primary source or a licensed attorney before relying on it.

Content ownership

The text, calculator design, and reference dataset on this site belong to LegalClaimCalc. You're welcome to link to any page. Reproducing substantial portions of the text or the CSV data elsewhere without permission isn't authorized under these terms.

Third-party links

Some pages link out to government resources (courts, the Department of Labor) or to affiliate partners. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them. Affiliate links may earn us a commission if you take an action after clicking through; see the privacy policy for how that works.

No warranty, limited liability

Everything here, calculators included, is provided as-is, with no guarantee that any figure matches what you'd actually recover in negotiation or litigation. To the extent the law allows, LegalClaimCalc isn't liable for decisions made based on anything published on this site.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms as the site changes. The version in effect is whatever is posted here at the time you use the site.
